Vipassana Leave Policy for Government Employees

Chhattisgarh government announced on April 7, 2026 a paid leave policy allowing employees to attend Vipassana meditation retreats. Employees can avail up to 12 days of special casual leave for each retreat, including travel time, during which they are considered on duty and receive full salary. This unique policy promotes employee wellness.
